MM Fräsen produces with 7-axis CNC robotic technology up to 1.2 tonnes workpiece weight and accuracy down to 0.2 mm. The CAD/CAM workflow accepts STEP, STL, DXF, DWG and IGES. The three sub-pages give details on CNC technology, our wood species and logistics.

7-axis CNC milling with industrial robot

Our CNC milling technology is based on a 7-axis industrial robot with a rotary work table (capacity 1.2 tonnes / 2,646 lbs). This allows us to mill complex geometries and free-form surfaces without re-clamping – even for large-format components. We accept STEP, STL, DXF, DWG and IGES files from all common CAD programs. Manufacturing accuracy is 0.2 mm – about the thickness of two thin sheets of paper.

Logistics

Shipping and logistics for CNC milled parts

Shipping and logistics for CNC milled parts: through the link to a regional sawmill in the Zwickau area and short routes to forwarders and parcel services, we ship CNC milled parts Europe-wide. Large-format workpieces by forwarder, smaller parts by parcel service. Shipping time is usually 3-5 working days after manufacturing completion.
