About Maaß & Miszler Fräsen
Two Perspectives, One Shared Idea

Behind Maaß & Miszler Fräsen are two people who have far more in common than just the first letter of their surnames: Matthias Maaß and Robert Miszler combine—both professionally and out of firm conviction—craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technical expertise. Both bring different perspectives and experience from mechanical engineering, robotics, programming, and hands-on workshop practice, which complement each other in their joint work to form a strong unit.
From Robots to Wood Processing
The collaboration between the two began many years before the founding of Maaß & Miszler Fräsen. Together, they worked with KUKA robots in the automotive industry and came to appreciate each other—both personally and professionally—for their deep understanding of control systems, precision, and automated processes. Since May 2023, they have continued this path together as founders and colleagues.
Although their technical expertise in robotic milling can be applied to a wide range of materials, both are particularly passionate about wood. In their private lives, they have long been engaged in woodworking. The positive effect of wood on people, its natural beauty, and its sustainable qualities are what fascinate them. From this mindset, the desire emerged to combine professional experience with personal interest. The robot should not only be a machine for industrial processes, but also a precise tool for exclusive wood products of exceptional beauty and distinctive character.
Craftsmanship, Technology, and Attitude
Maaß & Miszler Fräsen was founded from the idea of creating more than just high-precision manufacturing. The company combines the ability to process large components, reproduce lost objects, and carry out restoration tasks with millimeter accuracy. At the same time, modern robotics enables efficient, fast, and reliable processes that meaningfully complement traditional workshop work. In this way, technical expertise becomes real added value for clients in craftsmanship, architecture, restoration, production, and industry.
The fact that the company is not run by a single owner but by two people is no coincidence—it is part of its success. Maaß & Miszler place great emphasis on teamwork, and the combination of CAD, design, control, and manufacturing from a single source creates synergy, short communication paths, and clear results. At Maaß & Miszler Fräsen, expertise and experience come together.

Matthias Maaß, born in 1972, is a trained electrician and state-certified IT technician. He brings many years of experience in programming robotic systems and working with wood as a material.

Robert Miszler, born in 1999, is a mechanical engineering graduate with expertise in machining technology and robotics. Although the two friends and business partners are separated by 27 years, they are united not only by their exceptional technical understanding but also by their passion for turning ideas into tangible, physical results.
